Question by : Is it better to get a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon for off road or a cheaper model with after market parts?

Rubicons come with Lockers and more body and frame protection than other models. The axles are also stronger. If it is an ’07 or newer rubicon, then it also has electronic sway bar disconnects. these features make it great for offroading. I would say it is better to go with the rubicon if you are planning on using it for offroading. it already has some of the essentials. That saves you a few thousand dollars of mods.
Definitely go with the Rubicon.
p.s. get a TJ model rubicon (’03-’06) they have the inline 6 4.0L engine which is much better than the new v6 engine. the v6 engine is about the same as a mini van engine. The inline 6 in the Jeep is one of the best and most reliable engines out there.
