Hypertech 640161 Power Module for 1994 F150/250 (4X4) 351 EFI Code E

  • Must run premium fuel
  • Plug in and go, no wiring or soldering required
  • 50-state street legal
The Power Module contains a dyno-tuned power chip mounted on a circuit board that easily plugs into the Ford computer's service port. The power module delivers more horsepower and torque, faster acceleration, and improved throttle response. Depending on the application, the power module also controls the cooling fan on/off temperatures, permitting the use of a low-temp thermostat for a cooler, denser intake charge. It also raises the top-speed limiter to compensate for the speed rating of factory-approved high-performance tires and firms full-throttle transmission shifts for faster acceleration.

This is me driving around out west in the ol Ford. The trail is called the Powderface off of Sibbald Creek Hwy west of Calgary at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. The trail runs down to the Kananaskis Hwy. It was very rough going through the snowed over parts of the road. The truck is a 1979 F250 4X4 it has a 400 engine 4 speed on propane.

Question by Mulereiner: Ford 2001 F250 7.3L 4×4 manual question (on the upper stick)?
I took my truck in for the first guesstimate. They think its the upper stick with the rubber worn off at the base and thats why its not shifting easily. I went to the dealer to buy the upper stick kit and all there was in there was the shifter.

(now keep in mind I’m not a vehicle repair person AT ALL and I was being nice) But I asked about rubber pieces for the base that wear off and makes your stick wobbly and sloppy going into gear.

She printed me a diagram of the parts and that really means greek to me. I’m absolutely stuck at the hospital all day today till 7am, so does anyone have any idea on what #’s on the parts I would need in the ford manual? Its on page p-34791 if someone may have it? If not then I will have to wait till tomorrow to be able to show it to the repair guy on my day off. I just wanted to get this escalated so it was safely back in commission and I don’t feel like the stick is going to fly off.

Thanks again!!

look at it and see what parts r worn,,,buying random peices will not help
yah see part of auto repair is proper diagnosis,,,my advice is drop it off at your mechanics shop and let him do it,,[hopefully not the dealer as they charge 25 to 40 percent more for same work
