Amazing for price, but not quite what I needed.,
I bought it to charge our iphones in the car, or an iphone and ipad. Its not clear in the description if it works with those (some don’t) and found out when I got it that only ONE of the two ports works for these devices, and the other port doesn’t (it says so on the device itself too). It was so cheap it was worth the experiment, but doesn’t work for its intended purpose of charging both our phones at once in the car.
** Update **
Used it once, and worked for a while and quit while on a car trip. Took it apart and found a bad solder joint. Re-did that, and it worked for a hr more or so, then quit altogether…. Skip this one and just get a Griffon charger; worth the extra money.

Bought this so my wife and I could both charge our HTC EVO phones in the car at the same time using the USB cable that comes with the phone – it works like a champ.

|Cheap and It Works,

I needed a dual usb charger for a trip I went on. I ordered this because of the price and reviews. So far it has worked great. It does feel a little cheap so I am worried about the long term use, hence the 4 stars.
Pros: Works and is cheaper than most of the competitors.
Cons: Cheap feel.
Is somewhat long so if you have a gear shift close to your dc outlet as I do, then it is a tight
fit in park. I had to keep unplugging my ipod when I put the car in park.

I have now taken it on 3 separate trips and it works great. It has yet to fail anytime I plug in my phone and ipod. I keep it in my backpack and it hasnt broken yet so I think it is worth the money.

Being an iPhone 3GS user, I know how expensive the simplest items can get. If you love to spend money and want the best of everything, this may not be the product for you. If you are like me and just want something that works and won’t break my heart when it stops working or comes up missing – then this is a great deal.
Such a good deal that I got several of them and I have them in my car, my wife’s car (she has an iPhone 3G), and I pass them out to my friends as nice gifts.
The charger feels like a toy, very light and I wondered if it even worked, but after several months of a hard life in my Jeep, it has proven to be a champ.

I tried first time and it charged my new iPhone. Second time it didn’t charge instead overheated my iPhone. Since then my iPhone is acting wierd. In the middle of an app, it exits. Hangs for couple minutes for no reason. Starts iTune out of nowhere.
Be carefull, don’t fall for a cheaper piece. Pay extra and get a decent one. I do not recomment this to anyone.

The USB cable looks and feels very similar to the apple one, but the chargers have a somewhat cheesy feel. Then again, that’s totally to be expected when you buy a whole set for less than half the price of a cable or either charger alone from Apple or one of the name brand companies.
I also should note that the AC adapter is 100-240v compatible, so it can work worldwide. I was wondering about that when I bought it because none of the tech info mentioned it. In fact, the casing itself was designed to be used with the EU style plugs, and that’s why it protrudes from the body of the case.
Also, the items I received look like the submitted picture, and not the MFG’s picture, for what it’s worth… Doesn’t matter much because in any case the items aren’t very aesthetically pleasing anyways.
Bottom line, from reading the other reviews it looks like they have QC issues, but I wound up with a perfectly functional set at a great price.

Do NOT EVER buy this product. I lost my Ipod Nano(8gb) because of this cheap nonsense. As soon as I plugged in the charger into the wall outlet, and connected it to the nano, the charger blew a fuse, and had smoke coming out of it. My nano didn’t start after that. No matter what I tried. I took it to apple store, and they couldn’t start it either. My warranty was void.
Go for real apple products, not for these cheap chargers. I’m not sure if this company BargainCell is selling authentic products, or just cheap makeovers without ever having tested them out.
Again, do not buy it, unless you want to risk losing your ipod.

The plug (adapter) is not the proper amperage and therefore it will take 5+ hours to charge your phone.
The clips on the sides of the wire are static and don’t bend in to make a smooth in and out connection to your iphone. I’m afraid that if you aren’t careful, you will rip your iphone apart trying to unplug it.
Do not buy.

I wanted this to take to work for charging my phone. I was very disappointed. It is useless for the my intended purpose. While the cable works fine for charging my phone from my computer I cannot plug it into an outlet and charge because the adapter plug does not work. The cord itself will not transfer data. What you really get is a cheap cord for only charging your phone by attaching to your computer.
